Transcript:

Hello everyone,  hope all is well with you all. Are you excited for the holidays? I know I am.

This is a quick update on several things that are happening and coming in the near future.

CASLI Performance Exam Updates:

Starting first with the CDI Performance Exam which candidates have been waiting patiently for their exam results. CASLI is thrilled to let you know that we are deploying the exam results to candidates who have been waiting for it. Keep in mind, not all exams results are ready to be sent out. We will be sending them out in batches and the first batch will be going out this week. We will continue to work with raters to make sure they complete rating process rating candidates’ exam vignettes. It is our goal for them to finish everything before January 31, 2023. By then ALL candidates should get CDI Performance exam result. For those who have not gotten your exam result yet, please know it is coming VERY SOON. Again, this is for the CDI certification. Once all candidates’ exams have been scored, that will conclude the beta period which is something we are looking forward to.  ** This means candidates can expect their Performance exam result within 90 days from the date they took their Performance exam.  **

Now, as for the Performance Exam for NIC Certification that candidates are pursuing,  that is still in beta period.  We have sufficient exams to move into the next stage with the Scoring Committee reviewing these exams. That will start in the beginning of 2023 where the Scoring Committee will convene and review candidates’ exams, discuss them and  implementing scoring criteria for rater training. It is still our goal for candidates to get their exam result Spring 2023; more close to early summer 2023. We appreciate your patience with this process as we know you are waiting patiently for your exam results. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Also, I wanted to remind you on our policies that we have in place:

Policy for CASLI’s Available Exams for 30 days:

When exam(s) are added to candidates’ CASLI account, the exam(s) must be purchased (to become activated) within 30 days from the date the exam(s) were added to the candidates’ account.  If the exam is not purchased within 30 days, then it will disappear from candidates’ account and then candidates would need to resubmit the Exam Request Form for the exam(s) to be added to candidates’ CASLI account for purchase. We encourage you to plan ahead to ensure you will purchase the exam within 30 days from when it is added to your CASLI account.

Next policy:

Policy for CASLI’s Purchased Exams (1 year):

When candidates purchase their exam(s), they have one year to take the exam(s).  If you know you are unable to take the exam within a year, then you can request a refund completing the Refund Request Form. Keep in mind, the refund must be requested within a year from when the date the exam is purchased. If the exam is not taken nor a refund is requested, candidates will forfeit (lose) all of the exam(s) fees that they paid. ** Exam token number assigned will expire and be voided **  We are encouraging you to plan ahead in figuring out the time frame you would take your exam(s) within a year window.   Again, if you have any questions, please contact us.
