Policy for CASLI’s Available Exams:

CASLI has implemented a policy for when exam(s) are added to candidates’ CASLI account, where the exam(s) must be purchased to become activated within 30 days from the date the exam(s) were added to the candidates’ account. This is a policy that we first established when we implemented the CASLI Exam System, however, was not able to fully enforce due to features not yet available on the CASLI Exam System until recently. If the exam is not purchased within 30 days, then it will disappear from candidates’ account and then candidates would need to resubmit the Exam Request Form for the exam(s) to be added to candidates’ CASLI account for purchase. This policy is established as an avenue to minimize the volume of available exams on the CASLI Exam System while also ensuring that candidates are paying the current exam rate they were assigned and requesting the exam(s) when they are actively ready to pay and take. Any questions regarding this policy, please contact testing@casli.org.

Policy for CASLI’s Purchased Exams:

Since the implementation of the CASLI Exam System, CASLI’s policy for any purchased exam has been that the candidates’ exam(s) must be taken within a year from the date of purchase. However, due to the uncertainty of the pandemic and the feature not yet available on the CASLI Exam System, we have not enforced this policy and have been lenient on this. The feature has recently been added to the CASLI Exam System. Going forward, CASLI will now be enforcing this policy to ensure candidates’ exams are taken within the one year time frame from the date they purchased the exam. When the exam(s) has been purchased, candidates’ have the option of taking the exam or requesting a refund within that one year window. If they have not taken the exam(s) or requested a refund prior to the closing of the one year window, they would then forfeit all exams and examination fees.  Any questions regarding this policy, please contact testing@casli.org.

As always, at any time you have questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us at testing@casli.org.

Have a great week and enjoy the rest of 2022 as 2023 will be here before we know it!
