I’m Star Grieser, the Director of Testing for CASLI. This video is to announce our call for CASLI Performance Exam Raters. We currently administer the NIC Interview and Performance exam that we have been administering because we haven’t yet completed the filming of the new CASLI Generalist Performance Exam for Hearing Interpreters, and the CASLI Generalist Performance Exam for Deaf Interpreters that we have been administering since November 2020. Once the CASLI Generalist Performance Exam for Hearing Interpreters is ready, hopefully this fall or winter, that will be swapped out for the NICIP and our raters will begin rating that.
Please use this form to submit your application and upload your resume or CV and a link of a video of you using ASL to sign your statement of purpose which is about 3 to 5 minutes long and include information telling us who you are, why you’re applying to be a rater, why you’re a good candidate (what your essential background experience or qualifications are), and what you envision a commitment to rating performance exams entail.
We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis but for this cohort and training, the application deadline is April 30, 2021.
Thank you and have a great week!
